1. Why have you chosen your particular brief?
-Tash, Phoebe and I felt that we really enjoyed making our induction task of a horror trailer. We decided it would be a good idea to use the same (or near to) the genre that we use before seeming we did such a good job then.
- We can also relate to the audience of our trailer because we are targeting teenagers and young adults. This will help us in making our trailer more enjoyable for the audience seeming we know what people our age like and have easy access of getting teenagers opinions.

2. Why have you chosen your specific tasks within the brief? How will they allow you to be creative? How do you think you'll be able to use the skills that you already have to complete the task?
- I can utilize my photography skills in our magazine spread for doing a photoshoot of the 'film'.
- Our trailer will be closely matched to our induction task seming they are the same genre, so we can draw on what we have already learnt from before.
- Each of us are studying English so will be able to use our creative writing skills to create a varied and interesting magazine article and use the internet to create a layout.
3. What do you intend to achieve with your main and second task? How will they capture the audiences attention? What have you learned about how trailers and magazines you have researched provide for their audience?
- We want to capture the audience by involving thought provoking images and sequences to make them feel involved.
- Make the genre clear to the audience e.g scary music, dark imagery
- The magazine article can contain some gripping 'behind the scenes' footage which can give the audience a more personal view. We will do this by taking pictures of using getting ready for our photoshoot and also add in some images we dont use for the cover.
4. What do you know about the subject matter of your chosen task? What have you researched to gain an understanding of relevant trailers and magazines?
- We have looked into relevant magazine companies such as Empire to give us ideas and inspiration of how we want our articles to look. As the way they expressed opioions and designed there layout will help us aswell.
- Many trailers relate to our initial ideas, which we have added to our blogs as links for ideas. And the fact that we have already planned and filmed a horror trailer in the past is a great advantage because it means we can use the relevant reasearch.
- The use of relatable headings and relevant cliff hangers is from our research seeming we noticed that all good movie trailers used these effects.
5. What kind of things will you need to know about your target audience? What kind of message will you get through to them? How will you retrieve an understanding of your target audience?
- Clearly we are the same age as the intended audience, so this will help substantially as we know what kind of films would capture our own attention.
- We want to raise awareness of issues that happen in the world which are usually turned a blind eye too, or most likely people don't even know it happens to children. The link above i found after looking through quite a few pes for which goes to show how unaware some people really are.
- We believe students want to feel as if they know behind the scenes extras, which aren't shown in the trailer that they can get access to.
6. What are your initial ideas for your project? What specific ideas will you be focusing on within your main and second task? What will your trailer/magazine be about? What ideas will you be including?
- We want to create a scary atmosphere, and use a gripping storyline that get people interested in reading our article and watching the film.
- We will focus on how bady the girl has been treated and how unaware she is of the real world she is hidden from.
